Kalyakh-vare is a well-known witch of Scottish folklore, the spirit of winter and cold, the patroness of wild animals and fish. It is a skinny witch with a blue face. On the eve of each Halloween Kalyakh-vare is born again and then walks on the ground causing snow. On the eve of the first of May it leaves and turns into a grey stone. Kalyakh-vare protects lots of different animals. Most of all it likes deer. They are its cattle. It herds and milks them, often saves them from hunters.

Killmulis lives in the northern areas of England. He lives in mills. This fairy has no mouth for some reason, but there is a very big nose that can smell food at a very long distance. Killmulis helps a miller with everything, cares for his wellbeing.
The English fairy with quite unusual name Klabauterman lives in bow figures of sailing ships. According to legends Klabauterman lives in trees. When the tree is cut and a bow figure of the vessel is made of it these creatures get inside and go sailing in the sea. Klabauterman is usually no more than a meter high. He wears a red jacket and a round red hat. Sometimes Klabauterman wears yellow or white trousers and big sized high boots. Klabauterman often helps ship carpenters.
